Activities, Events and Programs
- Basketball Blowout: February Fundraiser--two basketball games: RLMS Staff vs. Girls and Boys Varsity.
- Communication: Collect and edit information and announcements for The Blast, our weekly eNewsletter to the RLMS Community.
- Cultural Enrichment: Coordinate and fund cultural presentations and author visits to the school.
- Directory: Collate and distribute Student Directory.
- Graduation: 6th or 7th grade parents form a committee, generate ideas and assist Mr. Mackno with setup for 8th Grade graduation festivities.
- Library Media Center: Assist with shelving, book processing and special projects.
- Living with Art: Sell artwork at various school events and arrange for framing and hanging of artwork.
- Magazine Drive: Operate our BIGGEST fundraiser, held each October.
- Membership: Help families get connected to the RLMS community to benefit their children and our school
- Operation Hope: PTA Volunteers help prepare and deliver a meal for shelter recipients.
- School Beautification: We provide help to beautify the school and maintain plantings.
- Spirit Wear: Volunteers take orders at various school events and help distribute orders.
- Teacher/Staff Appreciation: We offer assistance with special events in the winter and during Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
- RLMS Talent Show: Produce the annual talent show.
- Teacher Grants: Review and award various grant submissions to RLMS staff.
- Turkey Shoot: Annual golf tournament/fundraiser held at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course each November.
- Wellness Committee: This committee focuses on the health of our students.
- Yearbook Portraits: PTA volunteers assist with orders and student flow on portrait day.
