Reporting Your Child's Absence:
It's very important that the school is informed when your child will be absent. Please call 203.255.8403 before 8:00 am on the day of your child's absence. After the recording, please leave your child's name, teacher and reason for absence.
School Cancellations:
To find out if school is cancelled go to Fairfield Public Schools. You can also call The Talkline at 255-TALK (8255) or listen to local radio stations WICC, 600AM and WEZN, 99.9FM for updates. Please do not call the school.

School Delays
School will begin at 10:10 am or 2 hours later than the normal starting time.
Decisions for a delayed opening are made by 6:00 a.m. due to bus schedules. However, a delayed opening
could change to a cancellation depending on the weather. Every effort is made to announce this change by 7:30 a.m.
Early Dismissals
School will dismiss at 12:40 pm. Early Dismissal usually occurs after a 4 hour instructional day, but unusual conditions
could dictate a different schedule.
Early dismissal decisions are made by 10:30 a.m. so that the drivers and the buses will be available.
Beware of Changing Conditions
School hours may change according to weather and/or safety conditions. Go to Fairfield Public Schools for any unanticipated cancellations, delays or early dismissals.
